Ballentynes Fashion – Fundraiser – Bible in schools
Bible in Schools is a non profit organization – run by christian volunteers throughout New Zealand and internationally to bring Christian teaching into schools.
In September, the organization held a fashion show at Balentynes in Paraparmumu beach to raise funds, to assist in this fund raising effort. The eveing was a sucess and fun was had by all.
As a community based photographer I believe in supporting non profit organisations. Once a moth I endeavor to do one job for free for non profit organizations.

Studio Portrait of Paraparumu Couple
Alan and Rayola , a lovely couple from Paraparumu asked me to take some photos in the studio to capture the essence of them and their obvious love for each other..
It was just a pleasure to spend some time with them – seeing a couple who are really love each other is just fantastic – the challenge as a photographer is to capture a portrait that truly reelects them and their love for each other.
As you can see from the photos below we did a great job and they were more than happy with the photographs.

Rene – Modeling Portfolio
Modeling Portfolio’s - Wellington region
Rene needed some photographs for her modeling portfolio. We had a great couple of hours in the studio – it was great fun. Thanks Rene you were great to work with.
We can do a modeling shoot for you – a basic shoot – you do hair and makeup and clothes (or a helpful friend or two).
Alternatively – as most modeling agencies suggest the use of a stylist for clothes, hair and a makeup artist – we can arrange that too if needed.
Moody 40s Shot – Inspired by Brian Brake
On a recent visit to Te Papa to see the Brian Brake exhibition (which I am very pleased I went to) I was inspired by the work from his “formative years”
I have always liked the style of older photos – so off I went to find some suitable clothes from the local second hand stores…whilst contemplating who would be a good model.. Ah got it.. I asked my friend Illya if he would pose for the image.
Very pleased with the results.
If you want some old fashion or classical type photos of a certain Juana-era, give us a call as we are sure we can come up something you will really like.
